Happy Halloween
I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. As I was passing out candy to the children, I thought, "This is truly a barbaric holiday." We spend years teaching our children not to take candy from strangers so they won't get hurt, then one night a year we take them out begging for candy from strangers.
Loki, Rob's girl friend, went trick-or-treating and came back with a lost kitten. They are suppose to be finding the owner, but the kitten is not staying with us, so I guess I won't worry too much. Chewbaca would not be pleased with a new kitten.
Chewbaca actually made it through Halloween pretty well. He spent the evening locked in the back yard and did not bark at any of the children. That surprised me since he really does not like children or people coming to the door. He looked a bit frazzled when I let him in.
I have spent most of the week reading for the EPPIE's. I am down to the last book with a week to go. I think I am going to make it. I will be glad to have time to write again.
