Happy Birthday to Me

I am modeling the necklace my sister made me for my birthday. It has one dollar bill sewn to a ribbon with sequins for each year I am old - which I'm not telling.

I have been bad about keeping up with my webpage since I hurt my back. I get tired quickly and by the time I finish working, I don't care any more. My back is getting better, thank goodness. Hopefully, I will not have to use the walker much longer. Though I can get around pretty quick with it.

Rob bought another car a week ago Tuesday. His engine burned up in the Geo. He got a nice little Saturn from my god-son. Then last night at 12:15, a drunk teenager took out the back left side. Split open the gas tank. Thankfully, there was hardly any gas in the tank. The kid hit and ran. They did catch him. Not only was he underage, but he blew a .18.

One neighbor called the police. Another neighbor got the license plate. They arrested the kid a few minutes later in his wrecked car. Of course now I have a wrecked car in front of my house that we do not have the pink slip on yet and Rob has no wheels again.

Rob and Loki are getting married September 10. I hope the heat wave goes away before then because the wedding is in the back yard of a friend's house. We could all have heat stroke.

I really haven't done much but go to work and then come home and work. I have written nothing, but hope to get back into it. When I go out to eat or to the dentist, it takes me a couple of days for my back to recover.
