It is Already February

I have not been so good about posting again. It is the whole changing jobs. I am settling into my new job, but I miss the interaction of going to work everyday and I miss my job.

I did finally start my new book and I have eight pages so far. At least I got Pax into the alternate universe. I am hoping to get some more done this month. If I get started, maybe I can keep it up.

I have been working on a blanket for Isabella, my soon-to-be granddaughter. It is about half done. I am crocheting it and try to do at least three rows every night while I watch T.V. I need to have it done before she joins us in this world. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, my sister and I are going shopping for a swing for the baby. We postponed today because it was suppose to pour. No rain since last night. It'll probably rain all day tomorrow. We won't have a chance for awhile because my sister has jury duty for a month.

Chewbaca is getting tired of me being home all day. Now he runs to Tom when he comes in and sits by him at night. Of course Chewbaca likes to play ball and gets upset with me when I won't play with him when I am working at the computer. He was playing by himself the other day. He would throw the ball into the chair, then retrieve it, then throw it, then retrieve it. It was funny watching him. He did the let the gardener next door that he wasn't happy with him being in the back yard.

Michael and Jessi are getting ready for Isabella's arrival. They managed to get Jessi's mom and Michael's step-mom to paint the baby's room. I don't paint. They seem to have all of the big items, so they should be ready. They have picked out an outfit for Isabella to come home in. It has a sweat shirt with a hood just in case it is cold.

Next month we are planning on getting kittens. It is quiet with no cats. I even think Chewbaca misses the cats.
