"Ms. Quinn has written a wonderful time travel that held this reviewer riveted from beginning to end. Her masterful prose and wonderfully descriptive characterizations were absolutely enthralling! The touches of levity here and there, especially from Stan Talltrees, Jesse’s enigmatic grandfather, added realism to the tale and allowed this reader to believe that the magic just might be true. Cassidy’s story is so poignant it tugs at the reader’s heartstrings, and Ms. Quinn does an excellent job of exploiting this emotional attachment. Stories like these can make the reader see their world through new eyes and what more could any reader ask from a tale. Cassidy and Jesse are sweetly romantic and Jesse would inspire fantasies from any red-blooded female! Although the identity of the enemy is obvious from the first, Ms. Quinn still manages to keep an element of suspense by including plot twists that have the reader eagerly anticipating what might happen next. This reviewer highly recommends this story to any reader of time travel and/or western romance."

"Like an arrow to your heart, you are bound to love this book! Janet Quinn is a masterful storyteller and deftly holds you spellbound, so you can't put this delightful timetravel tale down. The humour and suspense is wonderful as Cassidy takes in the new roles for men and women and the dangers and delights of the 21st century. The interaction between Jesse and Cassidy and the secondary characters is well developed, while the tales of Stan Talltrees, Jesse’s sage old grandfather, allow the magic to be real."

Once again, Janet Quinn has written a priceless work that will take you from 1884 to the 21st century. The writer paints such a real portrait of Cassidy viewing the modern times compared to her living in the past that it was fascinating visualizing Cassidy’s expressions through the different years of time. In addition, Ms. Quinn has given us many secondary characters that blend in this story to create a remarkable treasure. I loved the character of Jesse’s grandfather and all the tales he inspired in the story.

Ms. Quinn is an excellent storyteller. She creates stories that touch the heart, that make you laugh, cry and leaves you releasing a wonderful sigh when the story comes to a close. Her books are like a huge movie as the curtain opens creating romance, suspense, humor, and a captivating conclusion that will leave you shouting for more. She brings all her characters to life. Bravo to Ms. Quinn for another remarkable book read. I highly recommend this book."

The Road to Romance
"Could it be just an old tale started long ago? Could there really be truth in someone being whisked in a dust strom and leaped years ahead of time to another life? That's for the reader to decide. I know it is a great story and I find Cassidy Howard a woman far ahead of hr time and very much a modern woman of today. Her courage, and determination are so strong they endear her to readers from the beginning of the book. I like how the legend is weaved into the story to add just enough twist tot he plot that will keep you reading to find out the outcome. Will she find life in this time or will she search for the way back to the life she left? Ahh read the book and see you will not be disappointed."
